Scenic Mountain Lodge | Sauna, Hot Tub+Ski Access!

Vacation... You need to make the best out of a crappy situation. Life is too short to not too. Positive: Location of the place was great. Loved that it was on the mountain, and easy to do the activities on the hill, and get to town. We love the outdoors and booked this place for that reason. it was really great that way. and the staff on the hill for the activities were so knowledgeable and helpful also. highly recommend Negative: We were not given the room we booked and needed to move two times to get somewhat similar reservations. I have used booking.com for years and this is the first time ever that I have not been given what I booked. when I contacted the owners, they did give us a new room, but we had to move two times to accommodate our stay, and it really just made the stay very inconvenient.

Aparently the facility is transitioning to a new management company andworking out the kinks. Positive: Beautiful, but somewhat remote location 15 km outside of Golden. Great steam bath, jacuzzi, sauna and fitness room. Apartments were well equipped and furnished. Negative: No reception or anyone at the facility to interface with which caused some issues. We were able to resolve this with a phone contact. Halls and entryway could use better cleaning of floor and carpets, but apartments were very clean.
